Let’s take a moment to talk about the environment. Magic the Gathering is not the most environmentally friendly sports or hobby all things considered. Draft commons, non-recyclable packaging, trash rares, broken sleeves, none of this positively contributes to the environment. Flimsy plastic deck boxes are also not good for the environment, but then again harvesting trees of more rare varieties is can have a negative impact on the environment as well.
Some ways that Pezui will be a positive force for the environment include sourcing all of our wood from top tier wood resellers located within the United States. Our partner wood providers all have ethical harvesting practices and commitments to long term tree population growth. In addition, we have partnered with ICUN for donations when we are using trees that are currently at higher risk. These donations go to further fund identification, classification, and protection of species. All species that we use that are at risk have notes on them in the gallery.
