Ziricote

Ziricote is some crazy looking stuff. No other wood ends up quite looking like the random patterning that is reminiscent of spider webs and spiraled stacks. The wood is still somewhat prone to cracking even at 1/4″ thickness, be warned before you go tossing your bag around roughly.

Great news in that this wood native to Mexico and Central America is not listed on Cites or IUCN threatened species, the bad news is that it is unfortunately rather expensive.

Titan Custom – $295.00 Black Italian leather lined; with 1 1/4″ Italian thin black leather strap using antiqued nickel snaps.  This particular box is one of our favorites by a large margin even though it is fragile. It is one of our featured boxes used for our website pictures and marketing materials.

Tournament Custom – $200.00 Black Italian leather lined with thin 1 1/2″ supple belting which is finished using antiqued nickel snaps.  This particular box is one of our featured boxes and has beautiful wild landscaping patterns on 2 of the sides of the box, with more normal grain patterns on the other two sides of the box. This is also our first design using our new strap in groove design which adheres the strapping to the box. This box comes with a Bocote deck divider as an interesting contrast point.
