If you have a whole lot of style with a little bit of pizazz then this is the wood for you! Purpleheart is not a dyed wood, it naturally pops with a “hello world, I am purple hear me roar” tint all its own. Though the wood does fade towards the brown spectrum with time and exposure to UV light it will still retain its attitude. The wood does glue a little funny at times, so you might see more joint inconsistencies than most other woods.
This flamboyant purple rock star is not listed as CITES or IUCN threatened species which is a great option to have some fun without hurting the environment.
