Lacewood and Leopardwood look very similar but are actually very different trees. Once they are harvested the wood exposes its highly conspicuous chatoyancy pattern that gives it a spotted look reminiscent of its name sake. This wood is wild and exotic, looking great on any highly innovative deck design.
Neither of these woods are listed in the CITES or IUCN lists of threatened species, which is good news for this beautiful highly patterned wood.
