Cherry

Never has the image in so many people’s minds when they think of a wood been so confused as the lustrous Cherry. Hint it isn’t red, that’s the fruit. Chery has tons of character, with sweeping grain patterns and random highlighting. Finished with boiled linseed oil, this wood is something to behold. First viewed as only a light brown wood, then you see how much character it has. If you were looking for a red colored wood check out RedHeart or BloodWood, but if you were looking for something with class you found your match.

Cherry wood is not listed on the CITES or IUCN threatened species list. George Washington also likely never cut down a Cherry tree, I am glad we got that out of the way.
