Ash

Oregon Ash is our second locally sourced hard wood from the Pacific Northwest after White Oak. This high quality light weight wood has a very charismatic appeal once finished with Boiled Linseed Oil that brings out the distinctive grains moving in comfortable patterns. Maybe it is because I grew up in the Pacific Northwest but when I think of what wood, or a board looks like in my mind this is the type of wood I picture, slightly yellow white and smooth to touch.

The comfort of Ash will be with us a long time as it is not listed on either the CITES or IUCN lists. This quality hardwood is good to hold and beautiful to look at without breaking the bank.
